Twice a year, in the Spring and in the fall, Nancy leads Prayer trips to Washington, DC. Anywhere from four to ten people join together to pray for our nation and for the world. The group visits strategic sites and prays.
1 Timothy 2:1 says,”I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness…” (NIV)
Nancy and her team of intercessors spend four days praying at such strategic sites as the Department of Education, Department of Justice, Department of Agriculture, the Supreme Court and other sites as the group desires. They also meet with Senators and Congressmen to encourage and pray for them.
We face difficult times in our country and while our leaders try to make wise decisions many times they do not know what to do. Economic downturns, wars 
and threats of wars dominate the news on a daily basis. As Believers, we need to stand in the gap for our leaders at all levels of government.
